Frequency
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are weekIy, although there is some flexibility around schedules if needed. I will check in regularly to ensure that the therapy aligns with your needs, giving us the opportunity to discuss the relevance and effectiveness of our sessions. Here we can discuss whether what we’re doing in therapy is still relevant and right for you. I also welcome and invite you to share how you feel therapy is going for you at any time. Consistency is important in the therapeutic journey, so I do ask for clients to commit to weekly sessions, though I may hold some fortnightly slots for those who cannot commit to weekly due to financial constraints or other circumstances and commitments. You are welcome to book an initial consultation or a full session.
Duration
We can set a short-term date to your therapy sessions, a long-term date, or we can leave it entirely open ended with regular reviews. You may decide you only need a few sessions to work through something that has recently come up for you and that you can manage after a short while. Whatever is decided at the start, if things change for you at any time and you would like to either finish or extend therapy, then I can adapt to what you feel you need. Therapy is about you!
What to expect from your first session
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming at first. I understand how this feels and I will do my utmost to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable. In our initial session, we will address any questions you might have, explore your reasons for seeking therapy, and discuss your expectations. This is a chance for us to get to know each other better, for you to evaluate your comfort level in working with me, to identify needs, and to determine the best way to proceed.
What you can expect from me
In the event that I need to cancel a session, you can choose between a full refund and applying your payment towards your next session.
I take holiday breaks during the year and these are usually around Easter, Summer and Christmas. I aim to give as much notice as possible.

I prioritise complete transparency in my practice. If there is something you are unsure about or if you have any questions either during therapy or before we start, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to provide you with the information you need.
Where do sessions take place?
Face-to-face sessions can be scheduled at various venues in Cullompton including The Hayridge. All venues provide a private and secure environment.

I also offer walk and talk depending on location.

Online sessions are available for your comfort and convenience. It's important that you have a safe space where you can talk freely with limited interruptions.
